can i take advantage of the newsletter discount now even thought my subscription doesn’t come up for renewal until later in 2015?

I believe so. I renewed several weeks early last year because there was some sort of discount, but my subscription expiration date stayed the same—it just tacked on another year. If you have any questions, though, you can email info@copyediting.com.
